Decision tree template

A decision tree turns a judgment call into a repeatable process anyone can follow. This one walks through whether to build a requested feature, but the shape works for anything: support triage, approvals, eligibility checks. Each question lists its answers, and each answer points to the next question or an outcome.

What's in this template

  • Three questions, each with yes and no answers
  • Arrows from every answer to the next step
  • Four outcomes grouped together, with the preferred one in bold

Make it yours

  • Each answer is a line under its question that ends with an arrow, like - Yes ->[core].
  • Add a question by giving it a key, [newq *vertical] Your question, and pointing an answer at it.
  • Outcomes are just items with keys, so you can add as many as you need.

The full syntax is in the guide.
